The Wheel of Playlist is a fun promotional tool that DistroKid created to give artists an opportunity to be featured on our Spotify playlist! Spinning the Wheel of Playlist gets you featured on the Spotify playlist found here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4hDwIuBjkr7sBssSeCREle.

You can spin the Wheel of Playlist once per day, and three times within one spin session. Your best spin result out of the three will be saved as your slot number in the playlist. For example, if the best result from your three spins was 23, then you will be the 23rd song on the playlist.

Your track will stay on the playlist as long as nobody else spins the same number as you. If somebody else spins the same number as you, you can spin again as soon as you have been booted off the playlist.

Spinning the Wheel

Here's how you can spin the Wheel of Playlist to get your song in our Spotify playlist:

1. Sign in to DistroKid and head to https://distrokid.com/wheel.
2. Choose a song that you have uploaded to DistroKid you would like to feature on the playlist.
3. Click the big "CONNECT WITH SPOTIFY" button after you have chosen your song.
4. Once you have connected your Spotify account, spin the wheel by clicking the big "SPIN WHEEL" button. Spin three times and see your best result.
5. After your third spin, you will be shown your best result and the position of your song in the playlist. You can then check out the playlist and see your song in that position!
