An "Art Track" on YouTube is auto-generated by uploading your release to YouTube Music. These are static videos that show the image artwork with the track's audio.
A "user-uploaded" video is any video uploaded to a channel created through YouTube. These channels are separate from the "Topic" channels that are auto-generated by YouTube Music.
Sometimes, YouTube Music will automatically replace Art Tracks with a user-uploaded video that contains the same audio. This might include an official music video, lyric video, or live performance.
Users may be able to toggle between the Art Track and the user-uploaded video depending on their device and which app they are using. However, note that we are not able to separate these videos if YouTube has automatically merged them.
When users watch the video within the release's YouTube Music album playlist, streaming revenue applies the same way it would for the Art Track.
If the user watches the video from your "Uploads" section, it might not count as a YouTube Music stream. However, you may be able to monetize the video if you have opted into Content ID for that release.
