If you're a label owner and want to use DistroKid, our Ultimate plans have many features that help with music distribution for labels – you'll have access to unlimited uploads for several different artists, the ability to manage the splitting of earnings through our Splits feature, and much more.
DistroKid makes it easy for labels to upload music for all of their artists. We have Ultimate plans from 5 artists to 100 artists; this gives you the choice to select the plan that allows you to make unlimited uploads for each of the artists you work with, with room to upgrade your plan as your label grows to represent more artists.
Labels can also attach their record label name to releases. Some streaming services display label information. Every release can have the same label name, or labels can choose different names (if you have sub-labels, imprints, etc.) at no additional charge.
In addition, our Ultimate plans grant access to the Playlister, which can get you in touch with user playlist owners in Spotify, and to RIAA Award Monitoring, which makes it quick and simple for label owners to track whether any of their artists are eligible for RIAA awards.
To sign up, join DistroKid and select "View plans". If you're already a member, click "Upgrade" to upgrade to an Ultimate account.
Managing the Earnings for the Artists in Your Label's Account
Label managers can set up an earnings split for any release, which automatically sends earnings to your artists as they are reported. This is a quick and easy way to make sure earnings agreements for artists are maintained without the use of an accountant.
Like our other plans, labels on the Ultimate plan keep 100% of earnings, minus banking fees/applicable taxes. Earnings reports can be viewed per artist, or for all artists together. Labels can also download reports into Excel/Google Sheets/etc. for extra analysis.
