If you see "The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store" when opening your iTunes release link, it means your album has been delivered and is being made available in iTunes stores worldwide. Releases sometimes go live in iTunes after a few hours, and sometimes a few days.
If you see this message, hang tight! Your release is being processed by Apple, and DistroKid has done all it needs to do.
If You've Set a Pre-Order in iTunes
If you've set a pre-order period for your release in iTunes, then you may also see the "The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store" message when opening your iTunes pre-order link on mobile.
iTunes links default to the Apple Music app on mobile. Your release won't be available until the actual release date in Apple Music, which causes this message to appear. You'll still be able to find your pre-order in the mobile and desktop versions of iTunes.
You can also try adding ?app=itunes to the end of your iTunes link, which may help force mobile devices to check iTunes directly, rather than Apple Music.
