DistroKid's Musician Plus and Ultimate plans offer access to the Daily Stats page, showing estimated daily stats from Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, and Amazon. It's normal for these numbers to differ from your monthly earnings statements.
The differences arise because Daily Stats and earnings statements come from two different feeds provided by streaming services to labels and distributors like DistroKid.
Daily Stats vs Earnings Reports
Daily Stats
The Daily Stats that we show you come from reports referred to by many streaming services as "trend reports."
Trend reports provide a general overview of your music's performance on the service, but they often differ from your actual earnings report. Variations can arise due to factors like returns, free trials, and service promotions.
Daily Stats are updated by services roughly every 24 hours, reflecting data from the previous day.
Earnings Reports
Earnings Reports are available to view on your DistroKid Bank page at https://distrokid.com/bank once you receive your first earnings from a service. These reports are accurate to the cent (to 20 decimal places in DistroKid's database). Earnings reports take about 2-3 months for streaming services to prepare and make available to DistroKid.
