To see the streaming and download totals for your releases, sign into DistroKid and visit your DistroKid Bank at https://distrokid.com/bank by clicking "Bank" on the top navigation bar. From there, click on the blue button that says "SEE EXCRUCIATING DETAIL."
This will bring you to a Bank details page where you can see a number of columns, but the one that indicates how many times your release has been streamed or downloaded is the "QUANTITY" column.
Depending on the service, this quantity column will indicate either streams or downloads/sales. These are the services that report downloads (all others are streaming):
- iTunes
- Beatport
- Amazon (purchases on the Amazon Webstore)
- MediaNet
- TIDAL Downloads
Downloading a Spreadsheet of Streaming/Sales Data
You can request a .csv file with of all the information in your excruciating details at any time by clicking the download button on the upper right of the excruciating details page. This will bring you to a download page for the file.
If there are less than 50,000 records to include in the spreadsheet, the file will be processed and downloaded right from the page.
If there are more than 50,000 records to include in the spreadsheet, the page will allow you to set filters for your report before it is generated. The filters include dates, stores, artists, releases, and withdrawals. Once you select your desired filters, you can click "Let's do it" to request the generated report.
Once you have requested the report, processing will begin to generate the report. Once processing is complete and the file is ready to download, an email will be sent to you to notify you. The email will include a link to your reports page, where the file will be available to download. You can also head directly to https://distrokid.com/bank/priority to view available reports to download.
Please note that generated reports will only be available for 7 days. If 7 days have passed and a report is no longer available, you will need to request a new report to be generated.
