Was your music distributed without your permission using a distributor other than DistroKid?
If someone uploaded your music through another distributor, we can’t help directly. You still have two options:
- Contact that distributor directly.
- Submit a DMCA takedown request to each streaming service where the music appears.
💡 Tip: How to find the distributor of a track or album:
Check the ℗ and © lines, and "more info" section on streaming platforms:
- On YouTube, the "Provided to YouTube by" line often indicates the distributor
- If you see "123456 Records DK" or similar, that means the content was likely distributed by DistroKid.
- Most distributors and labels list contact info for DMCA claims in their terms and conditions, linked at the bottom of their website.
