How Does DistroKid Publishing Work?

When you sign up for DistroKid Publishing, we act as your publishing administrator.

We collect composition royalties on your behalf, and you keep full ownership of your copyright. As your publishing administrator, we will:

1. Register your works with a Performing Rights Organization (PRO). (Don't have a PRO? No worries, you’re still eligible; learn more here.)
2. Register your works with global collection societies.
3. Collect eligible publishing royalties.
4. Send those royalties to your DistroKid Bank.
