When you opt a song into DistroKid Publishing, DistroKid registers the composition with your PRO automatically. That removes an extra step from your release checklist. - Collect all of your publishing royalties.
Performance royalties are split 50/50 between a writer share and publisher share.
If you're only registered as a songwriter and don't have a publishing administrator, you may miss the publisher share. DistroKid Publishing collects that share on your behalf. - Make sure everything lands in your DistroKid Bank.
