If you searched for your music in services by artist name or release title and still cannot find it, it's possible that one of the following has occurred:
- Your music may not be live yet. If you set a future release date, you will not be able to locate the release in a service until that release date. For more information about how long it takes a release to make it into services and go live, click here.
- Your release contains a cover song, which can take up to 14 days to acquire a cover song license for. For more information on cover songs, check out this article.
- You're searching for your song in a service in which the catalogue is curated. Check out this article for more information on services that curate their catalogue.
- Services are indexing your artist name. Your artist name might not show up in searches until it's indexed, even if your music is live. Services manage this internally, and it usually doesn't take long after your release. This often occurs if it's your first time using that artist name.
- Your release title is too common. If you have a common song or album title, such as "Home," it may not show in search results at the top if other releases are very popular in rank.
