No, you do not need to provide UPCs or ISRCs to DistroKid when uploading unless your recording has already been assigned an ISRC (either by you or a party acting on your behalf). Per ISRC guidelines, an ISRC identifies a recording through its entire life and should remain the same despite changes in distributor, ownership, file type, etc. If you need assistance determining whether a recording already has an ISRC, please contact your local ISRC Agency.
DistroKid has been appointed by the US ISRC Agency to assign ISRCs. If your recording has not already been assigned an ISRC (either by you or a party acting on your behalf), DistroKid will generate an ISRC for every song you upload. It's free and automatic.

There is no way to specify a custom UPC for DistroKid uploads. A unique DistroKid UPC is generated for every upload to DistroKid.
